Learning to Learn Behaviour Services

My Story
My journey in this field started in a specialist school in the UK, where I first discovered my passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
Along the way, I studied psychology, special education, and positive behaviour supports, gaining the tools to make a real difference. In 2011, I packed up my life (and a very patient husband) and moved to Australia, where I continued working in clinics, homes, schools, and the community—supporting children and families in both group and 1:1 settings.

But beyond the textbooks and therapy sessions, I wear another important hat—I’m also an autism parent. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the strategies that work in professional settings don’t always translate smoothly to the home. Parenting is messy, unpredictable, and full of love. Sometimes you need more than a manual—you need real, practical support that fits your family.

That’s why I’m so passionate about helping parents navigate the challenges, understand their child’s unique needs, and build confidence along the way. I believe that with the right tools (and a little humor!), we can create positive change—without adding more stress to your plate.
